We are preparing for a move just up the street to 137 Portland Street!
Until mid-February you’ll find us open at our current location, 53 Portland Street with some great in-store only moving sale specials!
The online shop is still open with lots of great goods to be found, we’re going to keep it going until mid-February and then that will be paused while we get settled in our new space. We can’t wait to share it with you!
Follow along on social media for updates on our hours and any changes, we’re @trainyardstore on both!
Kimberley & The Trainyard Team
Community and kindness influence everything we do around here.
We’re Glad You’re Here!
What We’re About
We work with makers and small businesses to offer a wide selection of whimsical & practical handcrafted goods. Everything we carry was created by a Canadian business.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming space for our customers, makers & community at large and this includes working to be actively anti-racist.
Since opening in 2016, we have encouraged thoughtful shopping, through our selection of handcrafted goods and taken steps to reduce our environmental impact as we grow.
We believe community and business are one and the same.
We Love Our Community!
Events, Giving & Friendship
Through Trainyard Connect we support our community partners The North Grove, The MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning and Hope for Wildlife. We strive to support other organizations through special events whenever possible!
When possible we play host to community events including, Nocturne (Coming October 2020!), workshops & more.
In store we always collect donations of personal care items for The North Grove, and also have our own mini Little Free Library!
We’re Open Online!
Now Shipping Canada wide
With COVID-19 restrictions we’ve been working hard to build an online store, and you’ll find a wide selection of our current inventory available now for local pick up or shipping within Canada.
We’re also offering Shopping By Appointment if you’d like to visit the shop with your ‘bubble.’
